Following on from the success of their first improvised album ‘Piano Project’, the latest offering from The Daydream Club sees the duo take the idea a step further by fully immersing the fans in the creative process and offering personalised improvisations.

The duo shares a passion for improvisation, in the early days of their relationship they would often stay up through the night improvising on the piano. “Music speaks to the soul. It connects people, evoking an emotional response. For us, the ability to communicate through improvisation is something quite magical.”

Struck with a desire to share their passion and to make more meaningful connections with fans of their music, Adam and Paula hosted a series of live-streamed performances, inviting audience members worldwide to submit their own thoughts, feelings and memories, which they would turn into spontaneous piano improvisations. “You feel a huge pressure and sense of responsibility when attempting to interpret a meaningful moment in a persons life. The opportunity to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and play for a while was so special and we’re incredibly grateful to all of those who shared this experience with us.”

Throughout 2018 the duo will be releasing a series of singles created from these live improvisations. The singles will form part of an album entitled ‘Piano Project // With You In Mind’. The first single, ‘Piano Project // For the Lost Ones’ was requested the day after a London terror attack in 2017, the dedication "in memory of anyone affected by the recent terror attacks anywhere in the world" (from Mark).
